In 1985, BC Hydro handed this 15 acre island to the Regional District for the sum of $1. Now a public park, it has some significance as an Aboriginal fishing site and because of the McIntyre Bluff and the high concentration of native pictographs nearby.
Located on the Okanagan River, Inkaneep Provincial Park covers 21 ha (52 acres) and is a peaceful spot to do some fishing and canoeing. Visitors can also camp in one of the seven sites located in the park. Basic facilities are offered from the end of March until the end of October.
