The museum is housed in a 1924 heritage building, the former B.C. Police Station. Displays include a diorama of the antelope brush grassland ecosystem, Native crafts, a century-old jail from the gold-mining town of Fairview and histories of local land-based industries. Tour guides, gift shop. Entrance by donation. Open May-Sep., Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Oct.-Apr., Tue. and Thu.; other times by appointment.
